Volunteer - Cat Care

Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society
Job Description
Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) has helped cats in need for over 30 years. Our mission is to improve the lives of all cats and provide support and education for the people who care about them. We do this through our programs and services, including our mobile spay/neuter Catmobile vehicle, adoption, subsidized veterinary care assistance for families facing economic hardship, and much more. To date, MRFRS has improved the lives of more than 142,000 cats!

We are currently looking for new cat care volunteers for our shelter in Salisbury. Cat care shifts run from 9:00am - 11:00am and 2:30pm - 4:30pm each day, and include cleaning/disinfecting, scooping litter boxes, feeding/watering, and other tasks around the shelter. Cat care volunteers must be at least 16 years old and are expected to commit to a consistent 2-hour shift each week for at least 6 months.
