Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our customer service team in our thriving and award-winning Salon + Spa located in historic downtown Newburyport. Both full time and part time positions are available.
Key Elements of the Position:
  • Client engagement and superb customer service through warm and professional communications, in person and by phone.
  • Assessment of client service requests and recommendation of additional services
  • Efficient appointment scheduling
  • Attendance of on-going training and development to increase knowledge of our services and products, as well as to strengthen individual skill sets.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as well as some nights,  weekends, and minor holidays, to support the peak hours of business operations.
  • Enjoys verbal interactions and takes pride in providing superb customer service
  • Possesses excellent communication skills
  • Has ability to develop professional client relationships
  • Is dependable, accountable, and punctual.
  • Has ability to problem-solve, and offer solutions when appointment challenges arise.
  • Enjoys being part of a team , but has ability to work independently through self motivation
  • Is comfortable with computer programs and learning necessary software products to perform job functions
  • Previous experience in customer service or within the the Salon or Spa industry is beneficial
  • Embrace initial training to learn our systems and protocols
  • Warmly greet each client upon arrival, and by phone
  • Execute appointment scheduling with optimization of time allocations
  • Execute service and retail purchase transactions
  • Assess client service needs and make recommendations for additional services
  • Actively support service, retail, and seasonal promotions
  • Support team members as needed to heighten the client service experience
  • Support business operations and protocols
  • Attend ongoing trainings in services and products we provide
  • Attend ongoing trainings in customer service and other skill sets that enhance your role
