Mill 77 Trading Company is HIRING!
The Mill 77 Customer Service Representative is responsible for positively impacting our customer’s shopping experience by providing every person that walks through our doors continuous friendly, knowledgeable and memorable service.

This position requires you to greet people upon entry, bid them well upon departure and to have a general knowledgeable of our area and local businesses or the quick thought process to be able to find the answer to a question regarding local goods and services.  We are a community-oriented business and are very supportive of our friends and neighbors.

The ideal candidate has a love for Newburyport and surrounding towns, appreciates locally made products and vintage paraphernalia and is familiar with computer basics. They also are very social and excited to talk to people all day long.
Customer service is our number 1 priority. You will need to greet multitudes of people a day.
Answering phone, responding to inquiries and following up with customers when questions require help or research.
Handle all cash register transactions, accepting payments, giving change, bagging purchases.
Observes safe money handling procedures and secure transaction practices when accepting cash and credit card payments.
You will need to be able to help customers carry furniture, etc. to the loading area.
Create an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a clean and safe store.
Carry, shelve and merchandise inventory; pricing merchandise, straighten up merchandise, stocks shelves and may assist in setting up displays and signs.
General daily cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, bathroom maintenance, cleaning shelves and taking out trash.
1-2 years of Retail Cashier and/or Retail Sales experience.
Strong customer service skills including effective communication. 
Strong written communication skills.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
Ability to ask for help when needed.
Accurate handling of cash and comfortable with math and currency.
Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time, Lift 50 pounds, reach, bend, stoop, etc. to handle product.
Available to work a flexible schedule to include some weekends.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Computer literacy. Familiar with Facebook.
