Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send billings to clients based on contract terms, services provided, and products delivered.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing schedules and payment terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on overdue payments. Escalate unpaid accounts to management.
- Set up new vendors/subcontractors and ensure all supporting documents for payment and compliance are received.
- Contact subcontractors to resolve payment issues and investigate and resolve any discrepancies, including missing or incorrect payments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports including month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Complete month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review monthly SG&A expense and forecast year-to-go spend.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for audit and reporting purposes.
- Set up and close out projects within accounting and project management system.
- Work with the Compliance team on project close-outs to ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Work with project team to report and accurately forecast indicated outcomes of projects
- Review and reconcile monthly work in progress report
- Prepare billing and burden rates on an annual basis and provide supporting data for any changes.
- Prepare drawers in Texture and work with subcontractors to ensure invoices are submitted and approved accurately and timely.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in industry software and tools – CMiC, ProCore, Textura, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities
