Practical Tips for Managing Small Business Valuations utilizes a multipart fact pattern  to demonstrate business valuation issues unique to small enterprises in Massachusetts divorce cases. Come listen to an overview of the valuation process with an emphasis on small business and how these often times complex procedures can be streamlined. Learn to distinguish between businesses that warrant appraisals, those that represent little more than self-employment cash flows and how best to address these in the context of divorce. Using real life scenarios, the expert panel will identify and explore personal v. entity goodwill, unreported perks and income and the double dip issue. A seasoned attorney will moderate, asking the expert panel questions on everyone’s minds when faced with cases involving small businesses.

Attend and Learn:

How to determine when you need an appraisal

How to handle self-employed cash flow
