Event Description:
Have you ever wanted to join a chorus, or perhaps want to return to singing with others?   Newburyport Choral Society (NCS) singer registration may be your chance to finally give it a try!   We accept singers from high school age and up, and of all musical skill levels.  This semester we are particularly looking for people who have sung tenor or bass.  NCS offers both new and veteran singers many opportunities to deepen their music appreciation and practice vocal technique.  Our spring concert, entitled "Annelies," by James Whitbourn, is based on text from the "Diary of Anne Frank".  For more information about NCS and singer registration, please visit our website at www.newburyportchoralsociety.org or call 978-462-0650.

Date/Time Information:
Monday evenings, January 9, 16, and 23 from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm.  All new and prospective singers are welcome to stay for the entire rehearsal, which concludes approximately 9:30 pm.

Fees/Admission:
There is a modest registration fee for the singing semester as well as music fees, but you do not have to pay these until you have decided to join.  Scholarships based on need are available.
