Integrating Practice with Todd Wright

Friday January 5th, 7-9 pm at NK&C

Everyone knows that practice is an essential element to increasing competency and becoming a more skillful paddler; but there are a number of ‘bear traps’ when it comes to both structuring and engaging in intentional practice. This interactive session will look at how to identify the ‘bear traps’ and develop practice behaviors without 10,000 hours, or having to sacrifice what you love about paddling, just to get better at it. This session is designed for recreational enthusiasts, club paddlers, trip leaders and instructors/coaches; anyone who wants to get more intentional about practice, or encourage practice in others. Thanks to Newbury Canoe and Kayak, Rock Paddle Surf and P&H Custom Sea Kayaks there is no charge for the event but space is limited so pre-registration is required.

Please contact NK&C or RPS to register.
