David Taylor didn’t just teach his high school students about wildlife over his decades as a Triton Regional School science teacher and department coordinator, he taught them to work with injured and orphaned animals as well as participate in the recovery of more than sixty marine mammal skeletons. Featured in the summer 2016 edition of the Newburyport magazine, Taylor has a reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable wildlife rehabilitator, having been involved in the rescue and care of thousands of animals throughout his life.
After securing a BA in Chemistry from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA, David went on to obtain a MA in Interdisciplinary Curriculum from Lesley College and transitioned his focus from the corporate world to public education. Join this Village Talk on March 29 and hear David tell his tales of his love and commitment to our animal friends.
