Lunch & Learn
Bring your Lunch at 11:30 a.m. and enjoy the Presentation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Location: Hope Community Church, 11 Hale St., Newburyport
Join local historian Ghlee Woodworth to learn about our shipyards and shipbuilders, and hear the words of a revolutionary soldier, an Arctic explorer, and women authors describing life in our community.
Ghlee, a twelfth-generation descendent of one of Newbury’s first settlers, is well known for her cemetery tours. She is the recipient of the Preservation Award for Stewardship from the NBPT Preservation Trust and an award-winning author.
