APRIL 22, 2022, 1–4:00, EARTH DAY
Join us for a Climate Justice Rally sponsored by the First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist!
AT 1:00 marchers will congregate (bring your Climate Justice signs!) on Inn Street and Market Square.
AT 1:30 we will march together to the Waterfront Park for puppet pageantry, art and educational activities, followed by speakers and music.
The rally aims to:
•
Build awareness and foster deeper engagement with the climate challenges we’re facing
•
Acknowledge that climate change disproportionately harms low-income communities, communities of color, and future generations
•
Offer resources/handouts about local organizations, suggested actions, and ways to get involved, including legislative initiatives.
Date/Time Information:
We seek young people who care passionately about the climate crisis and are looking for ways to take action.
